Installing a Vinyl Fence? Here’s How to Find the Right Installer to Help

Now that you’ve purchased a vinyl fence or one of the other great products from Weatherables, you’ll need to install it. While all of our products come with easy-to-follow directions and we offer video tutorials, we know it’s not always practical or desired to self-install.

With this post, we’ll detail all you need to know about finding a professional to install vinyl fencing, along with our other products. We’ll also warn you of some of the pitfalls you might face during your search.

Who Should You Reach Out To?
Most likely, there are many installers in your area who can do a very good job of installing vinyl fencing. While traditional fence companies will typically try and sell you their materials and make a markup on their product, our customers have had more success with landscaping companies and local handymen.

The workers from these two options typically do not have an outlet to purchase wholesale fencing and would be glad to install the fence or other Weatherables product you provide. We suggest that you contact your local landscaper or home handyman and ask about hourly and per job rates.

More Installing Options
If you’re having trouble locating one of the two options above to install vinyl fencing, another methodology is to get a list of fence installers from your local big box store, such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.

These installers are sub-contractors and have experience installing vinyl fencing and railing products and typically have no issue or difficulties with installing our Weatherables® brand of fencing. When you contact the installer, simply ask if they can install a fence that you would provide and if so, ask for a bid rather than an estimate.

We’re Here to Help!
Remember, you receive free technical support from us for all of our products, and we will talk directly to your installer and help them with anything they need. With basic technology (emailing/texting pictures, video chat, etc.) we can help with any installation questions they have.

Additionally, we can send you an extra copy of the installation instructions to give to your installer and our phone number should they have any questions as they are measuring or beginning to work on your job.

So there you have it, an easy guide to finding the right professional for your vinyl fence installation needs. If you have any further questions about this or any of the great products we offer, feel free to contact us today!
