 Duties & Accountabilities

• Owns the Shipping and Logistics for USAVinyl LLC .
• Lead, manage, retain, and hold shipping staff accountable
• Keep shipping operations within budget without compromising service, speed or efficiency
• Oversee and analyze outbound shipping lanes and burden
• Strategically combine orders and shipments to save money
• Document process and report to management as required
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment
• Liaise with customer service, suppliers, and transportation resources
• Liaise with accounting for billing issues
• Ensure all shipping activities operate within US DOT regulations
• Monitor market pricing associated with logistics and product of all incoming channels
• Effectively utilize tools and systems to support incoming and outgoing shipments
• Reporting direct to the Plant Manager and VP of Operations
• Motivating direct reports such as Shipping Senior Leader and shipping team
• Be a positive and functional part of the Supervisor EOS Team
• All other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and VP of Operations.

Required

• 5+ years’ experience in Shipping/Logistics role
• Experience managing outside vendors, contract negotiations, etc.
• General Computer skills i.e., MS Office, ERP Systems, and Shipping software
• USDOT Regulations Competent
• High degree of accuracy, initiative, and adaptability
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attendance required

Preferred

• 2+ years’ experience in Shipping and or Logistics Supervising
• 4-year degree in logistics, supply chain management

Desired

• EOS experience
• Netsuite experience
