With premium .75" square aluminum spindles, the 36" Lancaster™ vinyl deck board railing kit offers the ability to attach the deck board of your choice to a Weatherables vinyl deck railing railing. The Lancaster's exceptional strength comes from the Weatherables' engineer tested manufacturing process and utilizing the strongest materials available to produce our vinyl.

The premium 36" Lancaster™ vinyl deck board railing kit with .75" square aluminum spindles allows you to add almost a deck board of your choice to the top railing using the included aluminum clips and fasteners. Be careful; other companies use cheaper steel metal spindles that can corrode! The Lancaster is made using our engineer-tested manufacturing process and quality premium-grade materials, resulting in one of the most durable and low-maintenance vinyl railings available today. Install your deck board on top of the railing “post to post” or “flush” over the post, as per the instructions. A metal insert in the top rail ensures superior strength for your vinyl railing. The Lancaster is International Residential Code (IRC) and International Building Code (IBC) compliant (and being tested in accordance with ICC-ES AC174 standards as evaluated by PEI, Inc. All required brackets and fasteners are included. If you are cutting a section in half, you must purchase extra brackets (sold in sets of 4) and a footblock.  Please note, railing ships unassembled.

All required brackets and fasteners are included. Brackets are designed for stair angles of 30 to 40 degrees. Keep in mind, that since the stair railing is being installed at an angle, the actual coverage will be less than the rail size. Please note, railing ships unassembled (assemble on site).

The post kits include the a post sleeve (1), an external post cap (1) and a post skirt (1). The 4” x 4” x 38” posts are typically used for the straight railing. The 4” x 4” x 44” post is typically only needed for the bottom of stair sections but can always be trimmed down if needed. In addition to the external post cap, any 4" x 4" vinyl post cap we carry is compatible with this post kit. Click here to browse our selection of post caps.

The vinyl railing post mount system is made to fit inside of our 4” x 4” posts. Concrete fasteners and leveling kit are included with the concrete mounts. The wood mounts connect to a wood or composite deck and include all fasteners. Please note, you must be able to get underneath the deck to install the wood mount. Please note, all of our post kits will fit over treated 4” x 4” without purchasing a post mount.
