At Weatherables, quality is our #1 priority. Our vinyl fencing is engineered to withstand just about anything mother nature can throw at it, including hurricane-force wind gusts of up to 130 MPH. We partnered with Intertek/Architectural Testing, Inc. to see just how strong our fencing really is!

Savannah
We started by putting our 6x8 Savannah privacy fence panel to the test. The engineers conducting the testing determined that our Savannah privacy fence panels (6 feet tall or less) can withstand up to 110 MPH of sustained winds or wind gusts up to 130 MPH!

Clearwater
Next, we measured the strength of our Clearwater privacy fence panel. This test was conducted using the wind generated from two massive seven-foot-tall airplane propellers fueled by high powered V8 engine. Based on the results, it was determined that the Clearwater privacy fence can withstand up to 115 MPH of sustained winds and wind gusts up to 131 MPH!
